What is included in the price of a fishing charter?
What else should I bring?
You might also consider bringing: sunscreen, lip balm, hat, sunglasses, rain jacket, gloves, camera, video, and binoculars for bird watching, whale watching and such.
Can I bring my own fishing equipment?
Everything is provided, however you are welcome to bring your own fishing gear. Give us a call and will let you know if something you plan on using is suitable.
Is there a minimum age requirement?
All ages except for the very young are welcome. An six hour trip away from shore is just too long for the little ones.
What if I am inexperienced at ocean fishing?
Everyone is welcome aboard regardless of his or her fishing experience or level of expertise.
How should I dress?
We recommend that you dress in layers and wear a jacket and comfortable shoes with good traction. Dress warmer than you think you need to for the forecast. Expect cool, possibly wet weather.
Who cleans my fish?
We will clean and fillet your fish for you, except Albacore .
Is there a bathroom on board?
Yes. There is a basic, yet private facility on board.

What is included in the price of a fishing charter?
- All fishing gear
- All bait and tackle
- All safety gear
- Fish cleaning and filleting, except Albacore
- No hidden fees such as fuel surcharge, harbor use or even sales tax
- USCG licensed, insured and bonded
- Fishing License. You will need a California fishing license, which you can purchase at Englund Marine, among other places. Consider getting your license the DAY BEFORE your trip or earlier, as Englund Marine doesn’t open until 7am. You can also obtain one online directly from the Department of Fish & Wildlife: http://www.dfg.ca.gov/licensing/ols/
- Food and Beverages. Feel free to bring food and your favorite beverages. Cooler available on board.
- Tips. While tipping is not expected, it is certainly appreciated. So feel free to tip if you feel it is appropriate, but don’t feel obligated.

1. Start out going south on L St/US-101 S toward Front St. Continue to follow US-101 S. (go 0.78 miles)
2. Turn right onto Citizens Dock Rd.
- Citizens Dock Rd is just past Tower St.
- If you reach Anchor Way you've gone about 0.2 miles too far.
3. Make first right into Inner Boat Basin continue around basin to the far side, park near the restroom/fish cleaning station, come down the ramp to the right.
